I am trying to source a Service/Workshop Manual for my 2013 VFR1200X-C Crosstourer.
I am happy to pay for an official version if I could find out where to get one (UK preferably) or even find a Honda part number! Finding information for such a thing seems almost impossible but I have work I need to do and getting covers off is safer if you know how they are supposed to come off:)

Can anybody help with info please?

Thanks

The first link takes you to a site that offers a manual for $435 !!!!!!

The second link is a life sapping, time wasting achieve nothing link that never gets you the promised manual download.

Well considering I don't even own one, I sat down and wasted time looking for one for you all be it not the stuff you were looking for, a thanks would have been nice. ;)

If it's just the fairings you want off....

Sorry, Thanks was in the Subject

Sorry, Thanks was in the subject box, maybe I should have been clearer with that so Thank you :) didn't mean to be unfriendly or ungrateful :)

Yes, I needed to get panels off to raise the fuel tank to route a cable from handlebar back to the power socket.

I don't understand Honda's thinking. Manuals are available in German and apparently in the USA though I can't believe that price of almost $450 !!!!

Do they think that Honda owners no longer want to work on their bikes or are they trying to force us to use dealers?

Again, apologies for my poor'Thank you', it wasn't intentional.

Owners manual

Thanks for your further efforts :)

No mate, the owners manual only shows you how to remove the panels you need for basic maintenance; access to oil filters etc. I have an email query in to Honda UK so maybe I will get some joy from that. I have some friends in the USA, Ill ask if they can get one from a Honda dealer there. Ill keep posted on how I get on. I find it hard to believe this hasnt been an issue before considering how long the ET has been available.

Manual-Partial success

Thanks Fink. I found that Russian translation link yesterday but when I tried opening the links I got blank pages. Discovered today you have to right click and 'open in a new page'. That downloads a .zip file which you then extract. So far contents is looking good :) Looks like a complete manual of 22 sections. I will try printing from the files and see what I get :)
