Hi , just picked up a 2000 VFR 800FI. The ride back was an hour and loved it. Have had a CBR600 for 15 years so a bit of getting used to the more graceful behaviour of the VFR is required. Used to have. VFR 750 in the 90s and always missed the grunt if the V4.

Anyone got a set if pillion bars they want to sell?

Welcome to the forum. Very clean looking bike and a Micron slip-on--I bet it sounds lovely. Low miles? It has pre-2000 mirrors on it for some reason?

Ciao,

Hi there and welcome, ---- Nice looking bike you have found yourself there, I'm pretty certain that once you have got used it you will have many miles of enjoyable biking,

Sorry but I can't help you with your request for passenger grab rails, --- Just in case your not already aware, do you realise that you can't have the grab rails fitted at the same time as the rear seat cowl, (that is unless you resort to making some cutout sections in each side of the seat cowl to accept the grab rails)

Probably a 1998 FiW or 1999 FiX registered in 2000.

If a 2000 FiY then would have no choke lever HISS and stainless down pipes.

Grey import boom meant dealers were awash with stock and new bikes often were registered outwith model year.

It has a choke so guess it's a 98/99 model although it was registered in 2000

Nothing wrong with that just remember when ordering parts. Should be a year/ colour code label under the seat.
