UPDATE ON THE UPDATE :) CONFIRMATION OF WHICH DAY TO COME & SEE RUTLAND :)

The votes are in. . . . . . No, not Europe!!

I will run the combined RUTLAND WRIGGLE/FTSR . . . . . . . SUNDAY 30TH SEPT

START LOCATION: NN17 3HT Starbucks (with fuel station) 09:30 for a 10:00 depart, Approx 150 miles, about 5 hours.

Thanks Rob for being tech. A small group of confirmed riders, so, late arrivals/entrants are welcome :)

(All good things start small)

I have tried to upload the route, with Garmin GPX & Tom Tom itinerary files but computer says no!
If someone could point me in the right direction for downloading the route, it would be appreciated.

Looking forward to doing my first ride-out.

Hi All

As I posted before our "Forum outage" I have put together a Ride Out mostly in & around the County of Rutland.

Run will start from Corby Starbucks/Service Station (Weldon, next to Corby) 10:00. Run for about 170 miles, finish about 16:00 ish same place.
(Still tweaking route)

UPDATE/ NEWS FLASH !!

I had a chat today with Kartman, who is not able to run the traditional FTSR this year & as my run is in a similar area, would I run this rideout out as a combination of this years WTSR & Rutland Wriggle.

I am happy to do this & as the FTSR is traditionally on a Sunday, if it will help those wanting to attend, I will run it on either Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th, whichever is most popular

So, would those with a preference on date post your day by Saturday evening of the 22nd please & I will confirm the result Sunday 23rd & also post up the route.

Also a little bird told me that Rob, you could/would be up for tech duties?

I am still doing a “no rain” anti rain dance:dancer2:

Looking forward to introducing you to Corby !!

Regards Paul

I might be able to make this after all, but won’t be able to confirm until the last minute, if that’s ok, Paul?

Hi Paul, yes all being well I can TEC.

I dont mind either date.

Thanks for taking this on, would it be a good idea to edit the thread title to entice a few more of the regular WTSR FTSR punters in?

Regards

Hi Guys
I'd like to join you for this. Can manage either day, but potentially Sunday the roads may be quieter? (Except for noisy motorbikes!!)
