Brexitigious Mutterings

Don’t think we’ll have any French riots here. Can’t afford the fuel for a start...
And I can’t see bikers wasting it instead of riding.

We’re dogs really, I think.
You see your hound could go it alone but as long as he’s fed and got somewhere warm to kip he’ll stick around.
If we stay in, our masters 'll make sure there’s just enough winalot in the bowl to stop us getting any silly ideas.
We’ve lost of course.
But i guess that’s ok because we could have never won anyway.
It's the next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways
It's still economic servitude for me...

The ways of the world are woven into the DNA of everything. Come to think of it I’m sure i recall Mr Anderson having something like this explained to him once he’d escaped the matrix.

What did we do? We took one small piss in the face of the world order. That’s all.
Europe will carry on, until it stops and when it does stop, it’ll be with the almighty bang of reveolution and the means by which the community always kept the peace will be the very thing that breaks it.
Freud said the reppressed always return. Well I think the oppressed might too.

When the people you put into parliament to represent you don't represent you then the system is broken. Proportional representation has been going on for over 2,000 years, in the age of the internet is it time to change?
Labour MP's both Remainers and Leavers want a General Election so they'll try to scupper the Brexit deal. The Tories, Scottish National Socialists and Lib/Dems (or what ever the crazy kids call themselves these days) mostly voted Remain so they want the Brexit deal to fail. Everyone is trying to manipulate Brexit for their own ends. Catch 22 I tell ya.

Oh and Rawhide, what's the matter with the clothes I'm wearing?

Dear god you really don’t understand what parliamentary sovereignty is at all do you . Absolutely clueless .
Parliament is sovereign
Government is not !

Prove me wrong and explain how you think this unholy mess should have gone in your deluded world FTM ?

There isn’t going to be a G.E and even if there was what exactly do you think that would achieve bar an extension to A50 ? Nothing changes with a G.E nothing !

Ok FTM as you can’t explain to me why there will be an election I’ll explain why this is virtually unattainable now .

G.E would only come about if there was a vote of no confidence . As it stands if that were to happen the DUP have already stated they would back may as would ERG and may would win a vote of no confidence = no G.E

A theory: The current deal is designed to fail, May and EU in collusion over this behind closed doors. Allegedly it took 38 minutes to be approved . After the 11th and rejection by Parliment the EU meeting on the 13th will make some concessions, apparently hard won by TM against their hard line. This will be seen as a victory by TM making her the hero of the hour and present a more palatable deal, albeit a still pretty punitive/painful one for the UK, that might not have gotten through previously, as a 'better deal'...

And when that, too, fails?

Yes, I know, you'll come up with another conspiracy-based answer...

...

I understand and accept that many people in this country feel disenfrancised--not only the traditionally disenfrancised poor, but also those whose lives are increasingly disconnected from the country's power centre in London. I don't know what the answer to that problem is (proportional voting?), but I do not agree that noisily crashing out of the European Union will resolve it.

Ciao,

It was a theory, as stated. The current deal absolutely appeases no one and, I gather from almost all I have read and seen, is going to be rejected. Granted, the EU need to show a firm hand to prevent further erosion but neither side wants the UK to crash out. Surely the EU realised that May would have an almost impossible task selling the deal to Parliment, so what did they expect?

What are you on about now? Where have I mentioned the Government :nusenuse:. Where have I compared the differences between the Government and Parliament :nusenuse:. Where have I said I thought there would be a General Election :nusenuse: or even hinted there would be one :nusenuse:. Why would I want to explain to you something I haven't said :nusenuse:. What's your problem? Why the Trolling?

When do you predict the Eu will fail then Colin ? . You came out with this bullshit last year . Since the U.K. voted Brexit the Eu has become even closer , you call them our masters yet fail to realise we were one of the leading elite club members . Indeed we were one of the main players in how the Eu has evolved., the SM being the most obvious which the U.K. played a major part in forming . We had one of if not the best deals out of all member states that included opt outs of Shenzhen and the euro a voice at the top table and a veto option on all legislation . Your vote has thrown all that down the toilet

Why do you want to know the difference between Parliament and Government? Are you 6 years old or something? Google it if you don't know and stop asking me to answer questions which have got nothing what so ever to do with what I wrote.

And it Schengen not Shenzhen, Belgium not China.

I'll continue to call you a troll because you are. i don't sugar coat shit ...I'm not mickvfr800fiw

Quarter past 8 on the evening of August 21st 2041

Or in other words, a generation from now. That’s what it said in the telegraph.
They [eu] got closer as a panick response to us and privately I smile because when things like that are done, they are done for the wrong reason, which means they’re gaurenteed to fail. It’s also a sign they are acknowledge their vulnerabilities. I will smile when it comes to light that juncker and barrier amused the break up and ended up fucking themselves.

From my time in Spain I know that the working class there have also had enough of the likes of Tusk / Juncker / Verstatadt and if they were offered a vote I wonder what the result would be, same goes for France at this time as we now see what is going on there.
I found this vid this evening to be of interest ...................
