Hi everyone, Haven't been on here much recently after an accident in work stopped me from riding my Viffer for the last two years or so :confused: fingers crossed next year will see a return to the saddle. Anyhoo, friend of mine is thinking of heading over to Blade Motorcycles in Swindon in the very New Year and I just said I'd check them out with the knowledgeable folk on here. Anyone have any dealings good, bad or indifferent with them.

TIA Joe :xmas2::xmas2:

Small world,i'm looking at a VN1700 they are advertising and may well pop over there Saturday.Would also like any feedback on them.

Just did a little search on them and they seem to have a good reputation in the south west.

Yeah, I'm working on the theory that people are far more likely to complain than complement and I haven't found any real complaints yet :):)

Parts service was always good in Abingdon, but that’s closed now I think? I guess if it wasn’t profitable that shows they have business sense too..... :(

Feck. Hope you're OK jo3ey.
Getting there. Did a good job on my neck/shoulders/back/hip/leg when a tree fell on me, getting back slowly, no lasting damage as such, but riding the Vffr involves raising my head about 2 inches to see where I'm going and that little movement is feckin' agony after about 30 mins. Getting there, just takes time as the medical experts keep telling me. The type of accident where the outcome could have been so much worse if only a couple of mm either left or right of where I was standing. Plan is to get back on the bike in '19 no matter what :neng2kb:

Friend ended up buying from Craigs Honda in Bradford. Nice people to deal with. Thanks everyone for the advice :)
